Longest verifiably measured wild snake 🐍 7.22 m (23 ft 8 in) from head to tail - a female reticulated python, named Ibu Baron (“The Baroness”). She was recently discovered in the Maros region of Sulawesi, Indonesia, in late 2025 and measured by Diaz Nugraha and Radu Frentiu on 18 January 2026.
