【認識中東戰場殺手：路邊炸彈IED與進階版VBIED】 影片是IED（improvised explosive divice）攻擊實錄，但能有行車紀錄器視角的，都算是小規模攻擊，因大規模攻擊通常會把行車記錄器也炸成渣！除非是第三視角拍攝，否則就看不到影片了。 IED翻譯成急造爆炸裝置，或路邊炸彈，因其幾乎都是埋在路上，等車輛或人員通過時引爆。美軍在2001年後的阿富汗與伊拉克戰場吃盡IED苦頭，超過30％的陣亡人員直接死於IED攻擊，就算是精銳特種部隊，遇到IED也變成待宰羔羊的無奈... IED不同於地雷，因地雷是以預計好的規格設計製造，尺寸與威力都能事先確認，但IED是用一大堆裝置組合而成，每一個IED幾乎都不太一樣，能不能爆炸與爆炸威力，其實製作者也未必能掌握... IED裝置的核心有兩個，一是主爆藥，這部分通常是利用當地軍隊流出的砲彈或炸藥，尤其是152mm以上口徑的砲彈，更受歡迎，兩三顆一起引爆效果就很不錯，這部分不難理解，但另一個「起爆裝置」就很有學問了。 當前大部分IED的起爆裝置，幾乎都是利用一般的電器民生用品加以改裝而成，因此材料幾乎看不到違禁品，來源不受限制，也就很
