Berkeley County Roads and Bridges are applying brine pretreatment to roads throughout the area. Key bridges, main corridors, and emergency access routes are being prioritized. Once it begins to rain, crews will transition to salt application as conditions require. Plowing operations will begin as necessary. We will continue monitoring forecasts and road conditions and will adjust operations accordingly. As conditions worsen, we urge everyone to stay off the roads and avoid traveling if possible.
