A heartwarming Chinese animation One Small Step has been nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 91st Academy Awards, which will be held on Feb 24. The seven-minute film tells the story of a Chinese girl pursuing her dream of becoming an astronaut with the support of her cobbler father. It is produced by Wuhan-based Taiko Studios, whose CEO started business in his hometown as “Wuhan is developing very fast. Many animation-related industries are thriving here.” | China Daily
