It's turkey breeding season! You might notice turkeys acting aggressively towards each other and people during this time. Males will peck, chase, fan their tails, and gobble to establish social status within their flock. Turkeys may also attempt to dominate or attack people that they view as subordinates. Aggressive behavior towards humans occurs most often in areas where turkeys are being fed by people. The best thing you can do to prevent conflicts with turkeys is to stop feeding them! 🦃 Lear
